Soft Tissue Therapy
IASTM
Instrument assisted soft tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a manual therapy technique which utilizes specially designed tools used to increase soft tissue mobility. The treatment helps to increase blood flow to specific muscles and regions while also serving to desensitize local pain receptors. By utilizing this method, it allows us to increase range of motion and reinforce it with exercise, thereby working to relieve pain and restore our patients to better health.
Cupping
Similar to IASTM, cupping is a therapy technique which helps increase mobility of specific soft tissue regions by increasing localized blood flow and reducing pain sensation in the short term, to allow us to regain ranges of motion and retrain proper movement patterns through exercises and movement.
